OPEN YOUR EYES TO YOUR CHILD’S EYE HEALTH
‘Open Your Eyes’ is a Sight For All initiative to provide general information about children’s eye health.
Your baby’s vision is constantly developing.
You are in the best place to recognise when something isn’t right.

Babies are not born with a fully developed visual system.
They need to learn the skills to focus, move their eyes accurately, and process the visual information that their eyes send to the brain.
Eye and vision problems in infants can cause developmental delays and early treatment is beneficial for both visual and motor development[1].
In most cases, the earlier a problem can be identified, the better the visual outcome for the child.
